o'erwhelms,
God's grace
is there.
He guides, He soothes.
What tender care!
Inside: When you're passing through the waters
And they seem to overwhelm,
When the rivers break the floodgates
And are flowing through your realm,
Just remember God is with you;
He will help you through the tide.
Floods can never overflow you
While He's walking by your side.
Let not
the waterflood
overflow me . .
for thy lovingkindness
is good.

Card 2: When storm billows roll and threaten your world,
Consider God's infinite love unfurled.
Inside: When heavy clouds of sorrow cast
Their shadow o'er your path,
Remember that the love of God
Still shines above their wrath.
And may His tender sympathy
illumine sorrow's night;
The glory of His presence be
Your comfort and your light.
He discovereth deep things out of darkness,

Card 3: Thundering, rolling waves of grief-
Drawing us nearer to God's deep peace.
Inside: God's rainbow of promise is shining
Over your ocean of grief;
Your heart, though it's bleeding and broken,
Finds in His arms sweet relief.
God give you His presence from heaven,
Comfort your heart every day,
Speak peace to the waves of deep sorrow,
Give you His strength for the way.
And he arose, and rebuked the wind,
and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.

winds of great sorrow--
But, look!
An oasis of hope
for tomorrow.
Inside: If a fragrant flower can spring
From a desert rock or thorn,
Can we then not praise and sing
Though our hearts feel ragged, torn?
For in timeless wisdom, God
Has planned that flowers bloom
From the midst of barren thorns--
Giving hope instead of gloom.
But I will hope
continually,
and will yet praise thee
more and more.
