Notes on the Book of Daniel
A verse often quoted by the writer, Henry G. Moss, who died in 1961 was: "Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain" (Psalm 76:10). How well this is illustrated in Daniel, both historically and prophetically. "Seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased How long shall it be to the end? What shall be the end of these things?" (Ch. 12:4-8). Despite the increase of knowledge in our days "none of the wicked shall understand." This little book is a distillation of the writings of some of the brethren in the last century who found their understanding in "Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God" (1 Cor. 1:24). The final word to Daniel and to all believers is: "Go thy way till the end be ó and rest."
